RecommendedIt has been 15 years since we had been on the train. It was just like I remembered it. My kids where 2 and 5 and now they are 18 and 20. They enjoyed it as adults. It was to short and I missed the observation deck and the tunnel. Hope they get that fixed soon. I would love to come back and ride the it when that is open. Brandy

My new husband surprised me with a ride on. The train. Omg felt like a little kid full of wonder and excitement. Loved it ♡♡♡
I've been going since I was a child, 30+ years ago, with my avid train aficionado and dearly loved Father.
We went on the dinner train from Willits to Northspur and also went on the Pudding Creek Adventure which the kids loved both. Nice crisp air, native plants, and just fun for all...
For a 30 minute ride out and 30 min ride back (the same way) and just saw a creek, bushes and trees, was not worth it. For that amount of money I would have expected more, like pass over a bridge, some open spaces, etc. I wouldn't recommend this ride.
Beautiful scenic ride through redwoods. Very friendly staff and you got to love popcorn on the train!
