Went for my apt and told them I just had a set of panoramic X-rays and they wanted me to get another set even when I told them I wld get them a copy... just padding the bill...I left without being seen! Just a money making storefront dental mill.

my wife who is partially paralyzed, disabled was 15 mns late to her appointment and the receptionist told her she could not be seen, after she had made an emergency appointment for a tooth ache. She had already taken her pre-antibiotic due to her medical condition and was still refused service . Unbelievably rude and couldn't care less after she drove herself from Bayshore to get there. I thought medical professionals suppose to "care" about their patients. the Smilist in Commack doesn't . What a disgrace

I had two appointments here, one cleaning, and one filling. The cleaning seemed to be very thorough but it was painful and i was not a fan of the technique where the hygenist picks at your gums to see if they bleed. my teeth hurt for weeks after this. there is also a big push to get invisalign here so they will ask you about it no doubt multiple times. their phone message system doesn't seem to be coordinated with their online check in system so even if you provide your health and insurance information beforehand, you wi... read more

Updated 10/5/20 I really loved this place (see prior review). I came here several times over the summer for a variety of appointments (fillings, cleaning, crown, bonding). I was nearing the end of the dental treatment plan and had an appointment for my last crown. My appointment started 25 minutes late, I sat in the chair, started doing the rinses. The assistant came in and said "I have a bad question to ask". Really strange way to word a question to a patient. Then asked if I had gotten work done elsewhere. Which I had... read more
My family and I have been using this practice for about 20 years. Unfortunately I am now leaving for several reasons. The receptionist and office manager have become very snippy lately which I find offensive and disrespectful. I also had an emergency this weekend and they totally mishandled the situation by bringing me in for an appointment and telling me I needed a root canal and referring me to an oral surgeon.
