It's been a while since I went; I've waited until I've been able to have most of their work corrected or redone. I had a lot of work to be done-- I have only myself to blame for that. A plan, if one existed, was never shared with me. The first problem I had was a somewhat difficult root canal. My dentist referred me to a specialist. They had me return 3 separate times each time was a real pain. First time I had an appointment to have crowns placed. It turned out they never order the crowns for the date they scheduled me for. Loss of time and pay from work. I was told to come that Friday for a free whitening kit. Made a trip to their office and NO KIT was available. Then they gave me an appointment card for an extraction to be done on a specific date. Again, I took off work for this procedure. Terrible experience with Dr Forman. While doing a root canal a piece of a tool broke off in my tooth canal. Requiring me to go to an Endodontist at my expense, to complete the process. Had to go back to Dr Forman for the cap. When putting the cap in he had to file it down a bit for a correct fit and he cut my skin under the tongue, requiring a stitch!!! He said I'm sorry!!! Now I have pain and discomfort for no reason!!! The worst dentist ever!!!

UPDATE....February 16 2021 and I still have not gotten a call or text reguarding my bill. As in my first post, I paid in cash back in November so my bill wouldn't go to collections. Took six phone calls from that time to get the insurance straight, and it's still not right. Call the office to finally talk to the office manager Lisa on Friday Feb 12 and I'm told she is in a meeting and cant talk at all today, she will return your call on Monday. I am not a fan of the Smilist as a business model. Their customer service is sub par. The office is run like any other place of business, not a place of care. I love Dr. Adia and her assistant they are great. i only went to the Smilist because of her. I asked the receptionist if the outbreak of the COVID 19 was going to hamper me finishing my Implant processes. She advised me that it would not. I have been a patient of Dr. Aida, who is an excellent and kind dentist. I have been going to her for at least 15 years, first in her Bellmore practice. When she moved to the Smilist, I followed her there. However, after my visit two days ago at the Wantagh practice, I have to give serious consideration about returning. I was scheduled for a cleaning, and when I sat in the dental chair, I was told that I cannot have a cleaning unless I have x-rays. A nightmare. Shoddy dental work that they refused to fix, except by offering to charge me again- at a greatly higher price- by thousands- by their 'specialist'. I do not recommend.

At first I really liked them.. we saw dr Aida and she was good with my kids. But when we came today for an EMERGENCY for my 4 yr old son our experience was horrific! I made the appointment a week ago because my son fell during hiking while we were out of town. Receptionist told me when I come in we wouldn't have to wait since it was an emergency and my son was bleeding from the mouth. We had a 10:20 appointment.
