DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! I went to Wayne Dental for the 1st time in September referred by a friend as I was looking for a dentist closer to where I live. Upon going for a cleaning that took forever I was also told I had 13 cavities. I go every 6 months and have not had a cavity since I was a kid 25 years ago. They used a used car sales man technique on me where if they did half my mouth today they would take 10% off. Don't give The Wayne Dental Care your business. Alicia - the Office Administrator - double bills! This questionable and unethical practice is wrong and should not be done by any reputable practice. I am on Medicare and therefore have a very limited income along with very basic dental insurance. My regular dentist was away on vacation last summer when a Starburst candy I was chewing pulled out one of my crowns. I am so disappointed with this practice - please do not risk getting work done here. I had two crowns put in 2 years ago - within a year of the procedure, one of my crowns fell out. First of all, they should be good for 10 years, so this is not normal. They said it was under "warranty" and made me another crown for no charge. Recently had a visit here where the staff waited until after they performed a $300 cleaning and exam to come in and tell me "I assume someone went over this with you but we no longer carry your insurance so you will need to pay in full before you leave here today." Sadly no one had informed me of this prior to having dental work done. As it turns out, they had only notified patients of this change via email and did not mail letters to or call those patients without an email address on file who carried this insurance. I have no big issues with the actual dental care itself. The office staff (and I am being nice) is deplorable. For example I started going to the practice because they had evening hours on two days but for the last three appointments, someone from the office staff called me to postpone the appointment to another day and time and when they weren't postponing the appointment they were trying to move the time up a few hours or tried to tell me they don't do evening appointments which they did and hand wrote on an appointment ca... read more

This Dental office is the rip off in town, I went for my regular clean up...below are what happened, so you make your choice to go... 1. The staff were very rude. 2. They said I need to do deep cleaning, I asked them I just like to do regular clean up on this visit and after next visit I will plan to do deep cleaning. They said they can't do regular clean up. 3. Stay far away! After 5 silver filling were replaced in one session, I had horrible pain after the numbing wore off. I called the office to see if they could call in some pain meds and they assured me they would. I called the pharmacy multiple times to see if they were called in yet and then called the dental office but they were closed. The staff "forgot" to call them in and actually laughed at their mistake. It's not so funny when your whole mouth is throbbing all night and you can't sleep.
