I had my fear visit to Smilist yesterday and in less than an hour I had a broken tooth repaired and a plan of action to fix the horrific job my precious dentist had done to me. The dentist who saw me, Dr. Vahid Ipekchi, was so kind and honest about the work my mouth needed. He was gentle and constantly checked on my pain level to ensure I was having a smooth visit. My dentist was Dr. Vahid Ipektchi and I was really impressed. He is simply a top professional with great passion for his work. He explained everything in detail to me and I felt that I can really trust him a 100%. The whole place is neat, well-run and professional. I was also impressed with the lady in the front-desk. Finally someone, who seems to care, smiles and guides me through my insurance stuff. I will recommend this place to my friends and family and to everyone else!

From the first phone call to a warm and friendly, I was pleasantly surprised. Then, my husband and daughter met with the hygienist who was gentle and friendly. We then met with the Dentist who was easy to understand and very thorough. I would highly recommend this office to everyone. KH

AMAZING! AWESOME! INCREDIBLE! This place is immaculately clean, and the staff is so friendly, professional, and helpful with your needs. Also, a great plus is plenty of parking available! What can I say... this place is amazing. My dentist is Dr. Hwang, and she is amazing. Not only is she extremely professional, but by the same token she is thorough, sweet, friendly, she makes you feel so comfortable. I along with my father have been coming to the Northern Flushing Dental practice for a number of years . Under the leadership of Dr. Schmuley who is an ultimate professional . He and the other dentists on staff answers all my questions and makes sure to address my concerns. The office has been revamped and is beautiful and he has brought in the latest technological equipment in dentistry. Been going for several years. They have great hours, early Saturday and Sunday too. Never a long wait, service and cleanings are great. Staff is friendly and efficient. Dentist is caring and spends time with you, they dont overbook. The parking is right there outside the door. When you are done you can go to Pathmark etc in the shopping center. Unfortunately, I have had several bad experiences with this location. I have scheduled three routine teeth cleaning sessions, and the last two times I got to the office (on time), waited in the waiting area for 10-15 minutes, asked the staff behind the counter why I had been waiting, and they said they were busy, there were 2-3 people before me, and they would get to me. This is a predatory practice. My dentist is in the process of moving so I sent my daughter here, just for a cleaning while she's on break. They insisted she get X-rays after her cleaning. She just had X-rays in August but we could not reach our dentist to provide them on such short notice. They just kept saying it's covered. She has perfect teeth, not 1 cavity and Cindy the hygienist concurred, but the office manager insisted she get X-rays. She had already had the cleaning. I'll preface this with I know 100% that I am a a difficult dental patient. I have an extreme phobia and to top it have very little faith in the modern day dental industry in the states. I came in for an emergency dental visit due to some pain from a recent procedure(implant) that I did somewhere else.
