We went to a late dinner (girls night out). Our server was great super nice. The belly dancers we awesome!!! They pulled us onto the dance floor with them, It was a good entertaining night in the city. Mind you the food was only Good for the price $$$$ 65 dollars just for me and I had no drinks with that:( big time downer. Atmosphere was great though. Big bench like table areas with pillows. Nice! That's about it though can't really remember the food. I know I had the Lamb, it was OK.

What a great place for a special occasion! We took our wedding party to dinner at The Sultan's Tent and it was great! The belly dancing was very entertaining and provided some fun enteratinment for the group. The food is ALWAYS wonderful! I would recommend the Maftoul and the Beef Short Rib...they are wonderful. If you are planning a private party like a bridal/baby shower or a birthday dinner this is a great place to go for something out of the ordinary. The management team is great to deal with and the service is always to... read more

I've enjoyed lunch and dinner here quite a few times. I've never got around to writing a review. I want to tell everyone my favourite dishes! If you've never been try the Maftoul, also known as Moroccan Cigars. You'll seriously want to order more. The Maroc Frites are extremely addictive. They add different herbs and spices to them that make them delicious. For lunch I generally have the Steak Baguette with the fries. For dinner, I would go with the Rack of Lamb. The lamb itself has tons of flavour and the honey sauce it's s... read more

I can't think a a better place to dine. The food is delicious, the restaurant is decorated so beautifully and the belly dancing is a great entertainment bonus. It puts a some flare into what would typically be a regular dinner night out.

Having been to Sultans Tent many time I have to say that this is one of my favorite Toronto restaurants. The food, the service, the belly dancing on Saturday night and the overall experience is great. From the couscous, to the lamb to the appetizers, everything they have on the menue is great. With only steps from BCE place & the Sony centre this is a very well located place.

The food was generally pretty good and the menu offered some more interesting-sounding than average things (which I appreciate--I love trying new things), but let's face it, the food is GROSSLY overpriced. And my choice of main (rack of lamb with prune sauce and couscous) really wasn't very good....but on the flipside, the Morrocan tea was a wonderful experience. However, this is a place where ambiance and entertainment rule all. There are belly dancers that dance around as you lounge about in your lovely sultan inspired ten... read more

*** As with the reviewer below me, my experience prompted me to give out my e-mail, details, etc. to a site that I only seldom use in order to write my first restaurant review. Take that as you will... I question the positive reviews from generic, possibly made-up, user names, but perhaps you should be the judge after reading a page or two of the reviews. I'll start off by saying that you should consider going for the entertainment value, as in, not the food. Anyone recommending the place purely on the value or uniqueness of... read more
