I had heard of this restaurant by friends and they insisted I take my celebration party there. From the moment my guests and I sat down, we knew we were in for a special evening. The service was outstanding, from the host to our server, all made us feel very special. The rack of lamb I had was probably the best ever. All my guests have called to say what a great "special" evening it was. I will not only return, but this is our new celebration place, and will recommend to all my friends.
My friends and I went to Cafe Moroc for Summerlicious. I had the Matfoul for appetizer, which is a hand rolled "Moroccan Cigars", hot crispy pastry stuffed with a mixture of mildly spiced beef, cashews and raisins, topped with chipotle aioli. That was okay... I wasn't blown away by it. I ordered the Lamb Shank for my entree. It was tender but once again, I thought it was just average... wasn't exceptional nor bad. I ordered the creme brulee and that was, again, just ok. The crust of the brulee was too hard. But the fixed pri... read more
The restaurant`s ambience is spectacular. We celebrated our daughter`s birthday and were so happy we chose The Sultans Tent for this special celebration. Deborah (Customer Service Manager) did an outstanding job accommodating us and ensuring our evening was a truly memorable experience. Everthing we ordered was amazing although the cocktails were way over priced but still delicious. We all ordered something different so we could sample a variety of menu items. Good portion sizes and great service. Again, Deborah from Custome... read more

I was a little concerned about planning a special dinner for my boyfriend here after reading all the reviews, but it turned out to be a fabulous meal! The service didn't start out that great as our server never came by for our drink orders. However, a manager noticed very quickly, took our order and probably spoke to the server as after that she was attentive all night. Courses arrived and were cleaned up very quickly and politely as well. I was very happy with each dish-the food was cooked exactly right, perfect temperature... read more
My husband and I have visited the Sultan's Tent on many many occasions and cannot rave enough about it. The ambiance and food are top notch, and the belling dancers are a great touch to the whole Moroccan theme. Their lamb shank is by far the best I have ever tasted. Love the creme brule! Service & management is great, always willing to please & suggest. The best French/Moroccan restaurant in Toronto by far!!! Great Experience a must try!
We went for a ladies night get together. Ambiance was wonderful, food was great, especially the morrocan frites and the mouftoul (cigar shaped pastry with spicy beef inside). We had great service. There was only one belly dancer which was disappointing, would have like to see about 2 at least going around from tent to tent. Order what is on the set menu, or you will be paying quite more. Worth the $39.99 for the 4 courses. Good portions. Very satisfied will go again and again. Air conditioning was not working, but they had f... read more
This place is fantastic for lunch! All of our meals were tasty! I'm not one to try different foods, but this was amazing! I had the steak baguette....it was mouth watering! I can't wait to take my wife there for dinner!
GREAT FOOD! This is the most unique concept in Toronto. The ambiance and atmosphere and both soo breath-taking and are trully one of a kind. The serving staff was so helpful and friendly! They added to the dining experience as well. The food was AMAZING. I didn't know what to expect from morrocan food but I found it to be quite tasty and leaving you wanting more. To top it all off the Belly dancing show was so nice and it was great to get a few pointers on how to belly dance!!! All in all this is the best restaurant in TO an... read more
