I am a current resident but moving out. I lived here for a year in the town home. It was so outdated-I was embarrassed to bring friends over. The management said they would but never did. They don't have pest control come like in my other apartments so my kitchen is full of those ants. The neighbors are loud and I had to call the police. I called courtesy patrol-no one answered. Not the worst but definitely not the best. Don't have fios, must be the only complex in Carrollton that does not have it. Lots of noise from the outside, and the windows are old and let a lot of cold weather in during the winter and hot air in during the summer. They painted the outside, but strangely only painted half of the building and missed the entryways and porches. It is near the freeway...

We recently moved in, and were kind of surprised by what we got. The model the showed us had a huge bathroom and was well maintained. In hinesite, it must have seemed nice since nobody has ever lived in it. The apartment we moved into still had the original banged up cabinets with broken chunks of wood. I am filled with regret after moving to the Tallows. They came up with a bunch of baloney rules just days after moving in. They bricked over the payment slot so you can't pay except when the office is closed, and there are new rules about when and how you pay. They want to trick the people who live here into having to pay late fees by making a whole lot of tricky and complicated rules about how...

Trust me you don't want to live here. Horrible place to live at. I can always hear the people right above me and the management has yet to do something about it. Staff gives out false information. Maintenance issues never get fixed. You'll get tired of complaining about it. Staff is not at all helpful

Getting worried -- the management just posted that somebody stole everyone's rent checks so they are closing the rent drop box permanently. This does not make sense because some people work nights and cant drop the check in the daytime and there is no other way to pay. What were they thinking? How about a little notice?!? Cant recommend this place anymore. If they can't keep the rent checks...

I asked for a gym key because that is an amenity they offer but the lock has recently been changed and my old key no longer works, he told me "sure if you write a review on apartment ratings right now in my office about how 'great' we are I will give you a key for free other wise it's $10." I've only lived here a couple of weeks but I really like it. I had to write a review to get a key to the gym or pay ten dollars. Which was not mentioned when I leased the apartment. The weight machine is always broken anyway. So far it's been nice and quiet. The outside is well kept and all the ants are inside the apartments. The front outside landscaping is the only nice thing about these...
