Thom Thom never fails to disappoint. We were there for restaurant week. The appertizers were a large portion and were very good. We had the sushi entree. It was 1 special roll and 1 regular roll. Very filling. Could barely finish. And desserts were very good also. As said previously have never been disappointed here and will be back again in the near future.
We were seated in the bar area. Some regulars came in and were a bit loud and used foul language which was a little annoying with my mom, aunt and my 13 year old sitting there. Food was good. Service was a little slow. Busy with restaurant week though.
Everything was good, experienced minor 10 minute delay for our reserved table, no big deal place was very busy and this was at 6:15 PM on Sat. night. My Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately my wife's fish special was delivered luke warm. We were asked by the server if everything was fine, but my wife did not mention it since we were half way through with dinner. No point in sending back at that juncture.
I live in Wantagh and eat here a lot... I was annoyed when I asked for my filet to be black & blue and was told that they only cook rare - this is a steak and seafood restaurant so that really was a ridiculous response although not the servers fault as this is what she was told. The manager came over and started to tell me the same thing but his response also said because it was so busy - really? The food is always good and I really do love the restaurant but they need to let chef know that there is more to steak than rare.
Had a wonderful dinner, arrived a bit early and the 4 of us were seated. Server was most attentive, efficient and professional~! The meals were all perfectly prepared- astoundingly delicious-KUDOS TO THE CHEF!.. All is all again another memorable, enjoyable and relaxing Dining experience ... be back more often!
Great Food and service!!!
Had such potential! Great location - right off highway and right at Wantagh LIRR stop. Food is nothing special and the service is CONSISTENTLY lacking (slow, not great customer service, etc). Bartender tried hard but clearly is inexperienced. We have been there several times over the years and every year or so decided to try “one more time” and are always disappointed - no matter which night of the week we dine.
