The lobster was fantastic and the service was great.
We were a group of six, thus sampled a variety of the menu. None of us went the sushi route, as we only eat it at strictly Japanese restaurants, but thoroughly enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp and Kung Pao Calamari appetizers. Three of our party ordered off the three course price-fixed menu, which included these appetizers (and pork scallion dumplings) as well. My wife and I were disappointed to learn that they were out of tuna (and it was only 6:30!) after we placed our order. She recovered nicely with the seared salmon, but I ... read more
This was our second time there. Food was very good. No complaints there. Service was a bit slow. Dessert never can out so it was removed from our bill. Our first experience was very different so I'm assuming it was an off night.
Price fixed is a great buy and the choices are excellent. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is elegant.
We've been here several times. Tonight everything was very good. The sushi at Thom Thom is excellent. My friends had the marinated steak and it enjoyed it also.
The appetizer sampler was very tasty and more than enough for four people. All of our entrees were terrific, the duck, braised pork, diver scallops and NY steak. Service was top notch. Will definitely be back with more friends.
Thom Thom is a regular for us. Asian fusion but with excellent steaks, duck, lamb chops, (paella???) Ok, that I haven't tried, but everything else's is just super. Chilean sea bass and wild salmon and diver scallops, some of my favorites. Excellent (but limited) sushi and rolls. The wine list is not deep but very well thought out and priced extremely reasonable. I had a 1995 Ponet for $139, unbelievable. Also, (now gone) 1997 Insignia for $199. The owner Danny, is a great guy who is always there to chat you up. Thoms is much... read more
My family loves it because everyone gets what they like. The boys have steak, the girls have sushi, and my grandma will only order the scallops with mushroom risotto and it's her favorite dinner item anywhere on LI. Great service and the food is always prepared well and plated nicely. One tiny complaint is that I wish they would change the menu - it's been the same for a while but they do have specials when we've gone on Saturday nights.
The food was delicious but the portions were extremely small.
