The food was ok but the service was really bad. I don't think that i would recommend this place. As far as apps we ordered the shrimp roll which was at best average and the crab cake which was very good. It took them over a half hour to get those to us, with no one stoping by to explaine. We ordered our Main course the same time as the apps and again that took a reeeeeeeeally long time well over an hour with no one stopping by the table to explain why. Service had problem cordinating coarses, didnt remember who got what. Forgot items. didnt stay on top of clearing table and topping drinks . maybe just having an off night? I've been there before with no problems, and would try again
I tried this for a birthday dinner and was happy. Service was good and so was all the other basics. Food was pretty good as well. It is not a steakhouse for a romatic dinner etc. or very expensive meal but it is a nice place to eat a meal. I had the sushi and it was excellent. I will be back.
My entree was off the special menu, "lamb porterhouse chop" which was excellent. the sides were also good. My wifes entree "scallops" were also very good, but her risotto "sweet potatoe" was not good. I had wine by the glass, which was good but expensive, the appetizer "combo platter" was also good.
I have been to Thom Thom more times than I can count. The food this visit was up and down. The Shushi pizza which I have had so many times before was a huge disappointment and not nearly as delicious as usual.. The Chilean Sea Bass however was great as always. Need to come up with a different choice of sides - the two risotto choices are tiresome when you've eatn here so many times.
Great variety for the Father's Day brunch buffet. Food was tasty. Enjoyed the sushi, steak, chicken, salmon. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. We returned here after enjoying the Mother's Day Brunch last month!
Under the ownership of Danny, Thom Thom is a consistent winner. The moment you enter you're greeted by a friendly staff member who seats you promptly and efficiently. I do recommend a reservation. The menu offers an interesting fusion of Asian and American cusines. You want sushi, no problem. You want a great strip steak, no problem. Every time we visit Thom Thom things are excellent from the server, bus boys, food and seeing Danny. Jennifer is the BEST server and we ask for her every time we visit. Overall a wonderful night with great food - sushi was extra special!!!
I can't believe this was the first time we went to Thom Thom! We've been missing out on a local star. Generous portions at reasonable prices, a diverse menu, attentive staff and truly fresh and delicious food. Can't wait to go back.
