The food was good but the service was fair. Not sure of the lady's name...not much of a pleasant personality....slow to provide water....said she would get chill bucket for bottle of wine we purchased.....never came. Not real warm or friendly. Would go back but would avoid that waitress.
The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Our table was very happy and impressed by quality and flavor of our dinner Kung pao calamari always delicious. A great spot for consistently good food
Overall a good experience however I would not return for a holiday buffet. Replenishment of the food selection was inconsistent. All food selections were good with the exception of the sliced rib roast which was outstanding. The shrimp cocktail was plentiful as were the sushi selections, however the shrimp would have been more enjoyable had it been cold.. It was presented on ice but was actually room temperature. The dessert selection was very disappointing. Hostess and waitstaff were very pleasant and attentive.
We started with the bang bang shrimp and Kung pao calamari and I would highly recommend both! Friends had the Gorgonzola salad and we shared the beet salad both delish. I had the shrimp and scallop special which was very good, other had sushi and steak which they said were very good. Dessert was creme brûlée, chocolate bag and the sorbets. All were yummy. I would most definitely recommend you give Thom Thom a try!
Food is great and the sushi is excellent. The presentation of the food is perfect and the food is as good as it looks. Staff friendly and service is excellent. Bar staff wonderful as well.
We love having this place in our neighborhood. The food is consistently excellent. We have eaten just about everything at one time or another and it all above average. The help is well trained which is a great benefit as I have found this to be lacking in other restaurants in this classification. There is something for everyone from sushi, cooked fish and steak. Good food, good service. Been here many times. Never disappoints.
If you want consistency, this is your place. Wide food choices, from sushi to seafood to steaks, always prepared to perfection. The sushi pizza, imho, is one of the best on Long Island. Waitstaff is courteous and professional.
We have eaten at Thom Thom many times and have never been disappointed. Sushi was very fresh and beautifully prepared. Service was friendly and attentive. Chocolate bag dessert was delicious and enough for four of us to share. Thanks for another great meal!
