I have been a patient of Dr. Freund for approximately twenty years. The good doctor is my cardiologist after experiencing a quintuple by-pass surgery. I have found him to be a caring and extremely knowledgeable doctor who always puts his patients well-being above all else. He has a wonderful and likeable personality and an ability to relate to his patients in very understandable terms. He has a very "let's take care of this right away" attitude. He is a doctor's ...doctor!
I started with Dr. Freund in St. Francis Hospital in July 2011 when I had a stroke caused by atrial fib. He is very kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and just a wonderful cardiologist and man. He is the most favorite of all my specialists and I have a few. He has a great staff and I think they love him too. I am very grateful for his locations to serve many patients . I hope he will follow my case for lifetime.
The office manager, staff, and Dr. Freund really CARE about their patients and their health concerns. This doctor is patient and will listen to and address all of your symptoms and explain tests; the need for them; and the results in detail. He approaches your healthcare as a partnership and is worthy of your trust. I am so happy that a friend referred me to this office. I feel so much better about my health concerns and confident I am getting quality care. I highly recoomend this practice.
I had a problem EKG during a pre-op physical with a gp. I got in to see Dr. Freund two days later. Travel made scheduling of a stress-echo difficult, but Dr. Freund and staff accommodated me. I had the stress test two days after the first appointment, very quick access for any specialized diagnostic work. His responsiveness was great, and he took the time to explain what he was doing, why and what the results meant. First rate treatment of me and his staff.
I spoke with Mr freund I am not using the title of Dr , it denotes compassion and professionalism, both of which he lacks. I would not trust him to take care of anyone.
