The experience enrolling Mom into Thorne Crest was very positive and rewarding. It took longer than expected, but her apartment was completely renovated and the delay was due to the construction process. We thought we could customize the apartment more according to Mom's individual tastes (i.e., carpet and countertop colors), but there were pretty strict guidelines we needed to follow, to keep Mom's apartment within the Thorne Crest standard. Great communication between staff. Questions or issues have been dealt with timely. So far, it sees my parents are being well taken care of. One confusing thing though is an independent 2nd person in the assisted living apartment should have the same breakfast as the assisted living spouse.

My mom is enjoying living at Thorne Crest. There are many activities to keep you busy. Help available if you need it. Good food, surrounded by happy people, makes a big difference. Thank you everyone.

Super helpful, caring and understanding staff! Catherine Buboltz was great at answering all our questions and concerns and made things extremely easy and understandable to make my Moms transition. I am a paramedic who has answered several calls at Thorncrest. I wanted to recognise a staff member Who appears to go above and beyond every time I answer a call in the memory care unit. Any time I have answered a fall or medical emergency your staff member Pearla is always there aiding, calming and treating the resident in need with the utmost care.
