Nothing was really great. All very average, pork chops thin, dry and overcooked…same with chicken. Appetizers were average at best. Price isn’t bad but I’d rather pay a little more and get really good and authentic Cajun. Won’t return.
We’ve been to Tibby’s dozens of times over the past 25 years, and never had a bad experience - until last night. To be fair, the host was a delight and the Boudin Rolls and Fried Green Tomatoes were delicious. Then things went downhill quickly. Two of ordered Bienneville salads with grilled shrimp. The salads the, selves were fine, but the shrimp were overcooked to the point of being burned on one side. But worse, the third diner ordered Who Dat chicken - which was so overcooked that it was inedible. Then finding someone to s... read more
Business response:
We’re really sorry this happened, especially after so many good visits to Tibby’s. Thank you for calling out the host, the boudin rolls, and the fried green tomatoes—because the burned shrimp, the overcooked Who Dat chicken, and the runaround getting help are not acceptable. We appreciate the feedback, and we’d truly love a chance to make it right next time. 💜💚💛
The DJ & music (including the bass) were too loud for our party to be able to have a conversation while enjoying our meal. Love Tibby’s but the music was too loud.
Business response:
Keith, thank you for the heads-up—and for the love for Tibby’s. I’m sorry the DJ/bass was so loud it kept your group from being able to talk and enjoy dinner the way you should’ve. We appreciate you saying something, and we’d love to have you back in for a better, more comfortable night. 💜💚💛
Service was extremely slow and orders incorrect despite the restaurant being half full.. As example took over 20 minutes to be acknowledged at the table and to get water
Business response:
Tim — I’m sorry to hear about the slow service and incorrect orders. That’s not acceptable, and we want to look into exactly what happened. One thing we need to clarify: we were closed at the time/date listed (Jan 1, 2026 at 12:45 AM), so we’re not sure if the reservation timestamp is off or if this was a different day/location. Please call the restaurant at 407-672-5753 so we can get a few details and take this seriously (date/time, location, and any notes you remember). We appreciate your help so we can follow up with the ... read more
Some of the worst New Orleans food I have ever had crawfish étouffée that had pure yellow sauce and had an over powering green pepper as a seasoning. I had a few bites and pushed it away. My wife’s sals was full of lettuce cores and had two old tomato halfs. I think Dunkin’ Donuts made the beignets. They were heavy and very doughy. We sat at the bar and couldn’t get a second drink, so the service was a bad as the food. Go else where!
Business response:
Thanks for giving us a try.
Prob the worst service I’ve ever had. Laughable. Will NOT be back
Business response:
We’re really sorry to hear this was your experience. That’s not the standard we strive for, and it’s disappointing to know we missed the mark. We appreciate you giving us a try and will be addressing this with our team to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Food was not impressive at all. Needed more pop in the Gumbo. BTW, your floors are slippery. Just a matter of time before the slip fall WC AND GL claims come in.
Business response:
Thanks for your feedback. We’ve been serving New Orleans food since 2011, and this is the first time we’ve had a concern about our floors. That said, we take guest safety seriously and will continue to ensure our restaurant is a safe and welcoming space. Sorry to hear the gumbo wasn’t to your taste—we know everyone has their own preference. We appreciate you giving us a try.
Food was very bland. Our kids chicken was undercooked. Overall the food was very stale. I question if the food in New Orleans is the same. Doubt it.
It took us complaining to get a server. Took 15 minutes. Ordered appetizers and when they brought them they said they had no clean plates. Never brought plates so we passed the appetizer plate around to everyone to eat off it. Way too busy and they kept seating people with NOT enough servers! The noise level was horrible!
