Aways a pleasure using this shop, knowing the guy in there is honest and will not over charge me, great service.
What a fantastic experience today in Sherborne. My mums walking stick clicks so bought a rubber end online. Still clicked, took it to a Timpson branch. Was told it was a bad rubber and sold a new one. It still clicked. Was in Sherborne today asked for a new rubber. The man in there said we didn’t need one. Tighten the top of the stick and it was quiet. Even offered to refund for the other rubber we bought. We didn’t take the refund but what a fantastic gesture and a wonderful human being.
Took my shoes in to get fixed for my mums funeral. Was told how much it would be. Said I’d have to wait as I don’t get paid until the end of the month, Julian did them and said I could pay later so I could wear them to the funeral. I will be back to pay. Fabulous gesture from him.
Visited your Sherborne branch with my son’s watch (he has autism) his watch broke and we got him a new identical one. He wouldn’t wear it, it felt funny, took the watch to Julian, not only did he talk to my son like a human, he explained what he could do. Switch the insides of the new watch to the old one, let’s just say, one very happy son, and to top it off Julian said to pay off forward by popping some money in the charity box, what a legend. ❤️

Popped to the Yeovil branch and had keys cut. Didn’t work, tried the other branch on Yeovil, not helpful at all was told to go back to the other branch to get a refund, went into Sherborne, took one look at the keys. Said it was a special order and promptly ordered them. Called me, cut them, worked first time. Amazing. How different the shops are.
I would like to say how fabulous Julian is. Amazing customer service and great community spirit. Very much loved in this little community
What can I say. After getting terrible service in one of your branches, a friend advised I go see king Julian, he did not disappoint. What a credit to your company. Wish all customer service was as pleasant as my interaction with the king himself.
WOW, what an amazing company. What amazing member of staff you have in King Julian of Sherborne. Popped in with my son to see if my late father’s watches could be fixed (he’d left them to my son) Julian showed so much compassion he tried his hardest to to find a part for one or the watches. He managed to get it to work but couldn’t get the part to fix it fully, didn’t charge us and told my son what was needed to look after it and suggested a plinth with a memorial to his grandfather to minimise further damage.
