I was experiencing high blood pressure and pulse readings. I called my primary care physician’s office but they were closing for the day. The receptionist said that she would try to contact my doctor before he left and then get back to me. They never did. My condition worsened so I went to TLC emergency care. They got me in immediately and began treatment. The doctor and staff were very thorough ran an Electrocardiograph, took blood samples, and started an IV to replace fluids in my blood. I stop at front desk for several minutes before a heavy set male nurse approached me and asked rudely why I was there. The male nurse was not friendly at all. If I did not see his tag I wouldn’t even of know he was a nurse.. no introduction. The paramedics that interviewed me introduces home self and was very professional and knowledgeable as well as Dr Alasup. He was attentive , professional and helpful. The Staff, the Nurse and Dr were excellent!!!! The reason I did not give the 5 th star is because they immediately knew that COVID symptoms were the same day , they could have said wait for a couple of days , quarantine, and come back. And then we thought it was a Dr visit co pay, but it was 100 dollars for both of us . Note: staff did tell us the cost ahead of time.
