Excellent Printing, Long Life This is my second Brother monochrome printer, and just like the last one, I'm getting more than what I expect from it. The print quality is excellent, and the life is longer than anticipated. I don't count the pages, so I can't swear to the promised page count. I print mostly manuscripts--lots of words on a page, and not many pictures. But I also teach a class, so I print handouts and note views of my presentations. Best deal I have used refilled toner for ages. When the time came for a new printer, I got a Brother, used the first cartridge that came with it and then went to my refill guy. The looks are no where near the same. As soon as I finished the refill toner I went to Brother toner. Its a little more than the refill guy but the looks and quality are head and shoulders above it.
