I would recommend I’ve only had it for a month or two. Depending on how much “ink” you are printing on each page will determine the products life. I’ve set my printer for economy printing with hopes to get more printable pages. The quality of printing in economy mode on my Brothers printer is very good.

OEM, The only way to go For the additional price of the genuine cartridge, I have peace of mind in knowing that my Brother printer will perform at its best when called on. I have tried aftermarket cartridges in the past with mixed results and prefer not to be questioning whether I get a good cartridge or not. My small office does not print a large amount and the cartridges go a long way before needing replacement.
