Always great service and great sushi. The most has been sweet lately, but it's still pretty OK. Very wide selection of dishes. Edit: they've dulled the miso. The one reason I like this place over places, and they broke it.
This place has 3 signs on the building with 2 entrances. Pretty Confusing as we were under the assumption it was a new 'Thai' restaurant since the newest sign states that. We asked the hostess to get the advertised 'buy 1 get 1 free' hibachi chicken, she said it was for dinner only (no where on the advertisement banner does it say that) Once we were seated, we did get our drinks which didn't include much ice. Miserable experience..had a 7:00 reservation.. showed up early. Did not get seated until well after. At 730 still had not even come by to get a drink order. Went to the bar to order our drinks and the bartender did not know how to pour a draft beer. Fed up we left. Thanks for ruining our plans. Rest of the night a waste now. Will not be back.. used to be a good place, but that is not the case these days..
Our take out order was not at all what we would get if we had dined in the restaurant in terms of the amount and the attention to detail. The soup I ordered was completely different from the soup I ordered less than a month ago although it is named the same soup. The soup was completely different. As for the other item we ordered, the amount served was not the amount typically given when served hibachi but we were charged the price of a hibachi plate. We used to enjoy this restaurant but last night was disappointing. The restaurant was freezing, almost all patrons were wearing jackets. The sushi was prepared with the incorrect ingredients. The food was cold. They didn't have the ingredients to make the drinks they offered on the menu. The waiter, Andrew, was really good at his job but I felt bad for him because nothing was positive about our visit. I'm not confident that we'll go back.
