All of the team were amazing to work with and are MUCH better than any folks I have worked with! They are very good at what they do and are friendly, approachable and very competent! However, the online application system is very inconvient and doesnt doesn't work well at all. The reason is that Buyer was not explained in detail the options to sell or rent the home and the financial impact in order to make a well-thought-out decision(s). This resulted in added pressure and steps near the closing deadline.

Ours was a difficult mortgage to arrange, because I am self employed. We did not realize that going in, unfortunately. Tom did eventually get us through the process but it was tough. Communication could have been better throughout. I am sure that Tom and Doug were very busy with other clients and running their business. I liked them both personally but wished for more proactive communication.

There was a period of time during our refinance process where Tom put our file to the side because we were a complicated case. He didn't inform us that he had run into an issue and just left us hanging waiting to hear from him. I understand that our situation was different but we are adults and would rather be informed of the issues rather than be ignored because our case was difficult.

It took a very very long time; my biggest concern was that they neglected to notice the existence of my zero balance HELOC until scheduled for closing, delaying things, requiring more documentation because of the delay. It was frustrating.
