I recently was referred to Dr. Mekelburg for a skin check up. I found the staff to be friendly and the Doctor did a thorough check up. I found Dr. Mekelburg to be very knowledgable and interested in my skin history. I also had a consultation for Coolsculpting with Ally and decided to book an appointment. She explained the procedure and made me feel comfortable and I’m very happy with my results. I recommend this office for anyone that is looking for professional Al services.
I had a serious issue with my skin and Dr. Mekelburg took the time to explain my issue and put me on the right path to getting better! I highly recommend Dr. Mekelburg for all of your Dermatology needs!
Dr. Mekelburg was wonderful. He made the diagnosis and took his time explaining everything to me. His staff was also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Mekelburg.
On August 29 of this year, Dr. Kwan (who is no longer) in Dr. Mekelburg's office performed a laser treatment on me to get rid of about 35 red spots on my torso and a few on my scalp. None of the spots crusted over and fell off, which you would expect if the laser worked properly, so the spots still remain as before. Everyone was very nice, but the wait time was so long. I waited over an hour, and my appointment was at 7 in the morning so I can't imagine they were that backed up already.
I went to see Dr. Mekelburg with a painful sore spot on my face. An adequate biopsy was not performed until, after 5 visits and 8 weeks, he referred me to a surgeon who removed my skin cancer. I placed my trust in Dr. Mekelburg and am convinced that my cancerous growth should have been diagnosed sooner than it was.
I think it is completely unacceptable for a doctor to keep a patient waiting for more than 30 minutes in the waiting room when an appointment has been made. Today I showed up 10 minutes early for a 1:30pm appointment. I waited until 2:00 and walked out. That is not a way to run a business. The prices that are charged for his services should make him a little more cognizant of his patient's time. In addition to that, the 8 chairs in the waiting room were full entire time I waited
