Dr. Jakob has taken care of my special needs daughter for years (8) to be exact and she is very patient, thorough, never makes you feel rushed. I highly recommend her.
My daughter's and I have been going to Dr. Jakob for many years. She is an excellent doctor and takes as much time needed to help her patients.
Everyone was very kind and caring!
This is a second time we visited her for my daughter's throat pain. The nurse was rude to us. We didn't know why. The doctor maybe wasn't happy that day. When I asked a question she was kind upset. I didn't feel comfortable to ask more questions. She didn't bother to take us to the nurse's desk; gave the paper work to my daughter and asked her to give it to the same nurse and didn't even look at me. We left disappointed. We will not go back to her again.
Dr. Jakob is a horrible doctor. I have been experiencing neck pain that is likely due to thyroiditis based on the location of the pain. I have had several bouts of fevers and sleepless nights due to pain and fever. I even ended up in the ER recently after calling Dr. Jakob after hours when she rejected my call based on having already called 3 times after hours due to severe pain. My first visit, was not good! I was told to come to the office at 3:00 pm by 3:47 I left without seen the dr. I asked twice for a reason for the wait. All I was told was the doctor was running late. I asked to be called to reschedule. By the following Monday I had to call again to reschedule the original appt. once I saw the dr. My ear issue was apparently resolved according to her. I wish I could right something nice about my interaction with both the doctor and the staff. My experience began with talking to a rude lady name Tracy. Than the doctor decided to brag about how she had a lot of patience and that I was just another patient. Needs to work on her manners. Really disappointed.
Staff was good,the dr.herself needs lessons on being warm and caring.
I was offered no solution to sinus allergy/ear pain. Before I saw the doctor or nurse was asked to pay an additional 500$ (220$ after Insurance) before doctor would see me for a scope. After I agreed to pay she stuck a scope in the front of my nose and said she confirmed nasal swelling but treatment was still not offered. Left feeling as if I was scammed. Better options available!
