We were seated at once, and then waited too long for service at table. All 5 items from the antipasto bar were overcooked. Sauce for ravioli was watery.
We were so grateful that they honored our reservation despite 4 accidents on the thruway coming from CT. We did call and our friend in NYC went on time and ordered for us. Big points. I have been going to this restaurant and their other restaurant Red Eye Grill for years now. I wish they'd turn the lighting down and make it a more cozy scene. I was a bit disappointed by the food, as I thought the pizzas wasn't as good as expected (judged best pizza by a newspaper I think). I thought it wasn't that good, it was okay
Trattoria is a wonderful restaurant. We have gone there for years. Today we were 3 women and 2 young girls and although we thought we could manage in a booth, the staff had to rearrange the table for us. All done easily and quickly. Wonderful staff helped us…a lovely gentleman and a lively engaging young woman. Welcoming staff very very nice as well.

I appreciated how accommodating they were. We reserved a table for 15 people for the NYC Marathon and had no issues. Everyone had a great time!
We had not been in quite a long time and it certainly met our expectations. Food and service (attentiveness and speed) were excellent and enjoyable experience. All of the staff were engaging and friendly. It was a pre show crowd so the noise level was high, but not to the point of distraction. Would absolutely return.

The Homemade Tartufo dessert was out of this world. We were stuffed from the gigantic portions of the 3 meat ragu (absolutely awesome) and chicken parm, but we couldn't stop eating the dessert. Any time we travel to NY this will be our go- to place. 10 stars
