Best food and service ever. My kids were hyper enjoying the beginning of summer break and the staff were so accommodating. They made sure that each of my kids understood the menu and I’m convinced the cocktails here are the best on the planet.
Dined at Carmines on one evening and Trattoria Dell’Arte the next, and the contrast was stark in terms of food quality, value, and customer service. The veal at Trattoria (for $60) was dry and surprisingly small in terms of the portion intended for 2 people. The lobster carbonara was dry and lackluster. Vegetable antipasto is excellent! Branzino was great!
Fantastic place. Pizza is the highlight with super thin crust so crunchy. Hard to get this outside Italy but these guys nail it. Cocktails outstanding the Spicy Marg was perfect with a good jalapeño kick, and try the In Manhattan. We did the lemon pie for desert and loved it. Service is excellent and friendly. We ate here 2 nights before but had to come back.
