Good service and nice ambience. Should provide free bread. Charging extra seems unnecessary, especially when they don’t provide butter or oil without requesting.
My second time at Trattoria Dell'Arte was great! The ambience is quiet, refined, and artful. The service was perfect -- I phoned to say we would be 15 minutes late. They had our table ready, knowing that we had a matinee to catch, (Sweeney Todd, which was terrific). We ordered everything at once, and they had us out in an hour and a quarter. Solid Italian fare. Busy atmosphere. Vegetable charcuterie was overpriced
We sat in the bar which is where we requested to be. The veal Marsala, salad & pasta pomodoro were outstanding. Our waiter suggested the blueberry cannoli which we devoured. Very nice flavors.
Trattoria Dell'Arte has the best food, the best atmosphere and the best staff in the business!

Pleasant restaurant for shows before Carnegie Hall or City Center. Service was excellent and food was good. I just had eggs and sausage for brunch but I will definitely return and try some more tantalizing treats!
