Gabriel, our server, was wonderful. Food was as good as I had expected. Good location away from theater district but close enough to walk to. For our group of 7 the noise level around us made it a bit hard to talk across the table, but all in all it was acceptable. All desserts were great except two that were just not what I cared for. We ordered six desserts and shared. I’d go there again anytime.

Due to the season, the restaurant was extremely busy which led to a slight deterioration of both the service and ambience that we had come to expect. Additionally, some of the appetizer food choices were not available, which was a surprise due to the fact that it was relatively early in the evening. The service was a bit rushed. it seemed as if our waiter was more interested in turning over the table than providing quality service, which was a shame.

This place is an NYC icon. The food is delicious, however the portions are a bit small. The service is spot on, the decor is festive and fun! It's a must-eat at when in the City.
