A reliable classic
Trattoria Dell/Arte was a great choice for our Valentine's Dinner. We were going to a performance at the Met and the restaurant is right across the street. We were staying at The Dream Hotel and that was 2 blocks away. So convenient to Central Park, Times Square, etc. The ambience was great. We were seated at the lower level in front of a fire place (they have 2) with candles all around and chocolates (it was Valentine's Day, remember!) scattered on the table. Food was amazing, line was to the door all night but then it was valentines and we had a show across the street at Carnegie Hall. Very busy but they had us out the door in plenty of time. Overall, well worth the visit.

I visit Trattoria every time I am in New York and it never disappoints. Classic New York Italian food, warm service and exceptional desserts.
