We arrived on time for a reservation and were given 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco, while we sat for maybe 5 minutes tops for a table. The waiter greeted us and recommended a couple of thing. While sipping our wine, he brought us some complimentary appetizers, which were excellent. The chicken parmigiana was huge and so delicious. The Tartuffo was to die for. I love this place!
Decent food, good pizza - but for the price it should be extraordinary pizza! I didn’t like the the line to get in, even with a reservation snaked through the restaurant. I felt badly for the customers that had to suffer through all of us crowding near their tables.
We went here for a pre-theater dinner. First, I'm not a huge fan of the giant plaster body-parts decor! And as we came in, the scene was a bit chaotic. But everything got much better once we were seated. The service was efficient and impeccable. Our waiter was just the right amount of friendly and professional. I enjoyed the food quite a lot: great bread to start, a delicious Caesar salad, and an excellent branzino entree. We were out in plenty of time to get to our show.
All good. As every place in the City, it was very busy. Service was a little slow, but understandable. LV
Perfect after Carnegie Hall....Great for a late night Pizza and a drink.....
We love this restaurant! It was originally recommended by our concierge two years ago and we made another reservation for this trip to NYC. The food is very similar to what we experienced in Italy last year. The atmosphere is eclectic- not typical Italian, but that makes it interesting.
You have to try the veal. Where I come from (Minnesota), veal is almost nonexistent restaurants, so I wanted to give it a try, and I was not disappointed, and you won't be either.
Incredible food, service and wonderful ambiance. Jeff, the General Manager, was so warm and inviting to our group and went above and beyond to welcome our group. Amazing! The group loved the entire experience. This is why we will come back!
Disappointed that waiter forgot to recognize my sons surprise birthday after I asked for cake and candle and chicken was served in 5 min and so tough tasted microwaved The cauliflower was over cooked Usually my favorite place not so much
