I have dietary restrictions and called ahead the week prior to my dinner. After checking with the kitchen, the person with whom I spoke said they could accommodate me. And did they, yes. The food was simple (mixed veg salad and steamed vegetables w pasta) but not creative nor was it flavorful. Due to it's location, it was pricey, especially for what I received.
We were in the 56th street vicinity, and looking for a great Italian restaurant, This checked all the boxes, and we had a wonderful meal, Would highly recommend the anti pasta 6 choice starter, and the chicken/peperoni parm:) Mark was our waiter, and created a very memorable evening....He is a 10/10!! Looking forward to our next visit,

Went here 2 nights in a row. Food fantastic. First night service top notch. Second nigh service not even close. Very disappointed with service the second time

My first trip to NYC & this restaurant was recommended to me. Loved the vintage building and the welcoming atmosphere inside. Our waiter was helpful in recommendations and had a great personality. The food was fresh and delicious. Great experience overall!
As first timers, we were really impressed with the fabulous 101 layer lasagna! It is a mouthwatering and super generous portion. Service was very friendly in this spacious and well-attended restaurant and since it is directly opposite Carnegie Hall on the 7th Avenue side, it is ideal for concert going too.
It’s my go-to place whenever I’m heading to Carnegie Hall and they never miss. Excellent fish and pasta.
