Booked an early dinner as we were going to a show afterward. Service was very fast, almost too fast but still enjoyed it. I had the lobster spaghetti carbonara and it was awesome.
I had stopped here a few months ago at the bar and had a fantastic experience. That prompted me to have dinner there in the future, which was this past weekend. I thought the dinners were fairly pricey. The pizza was so thinly crusted it was almost not there. I thought the service was just alright. I will not be running back there unless it is to the bar.
My first time there and will definitely be returning. Bartender was great, complimentary glass of proseco for those who dine. Service was exceptional waiters were all friendly and extremely attentive. All in all a great dining experience
I have had dinner here on many occasions and this evening was the best ever! The service was amazing the wine selection has improved and the food was over the top! Combine that with the historic significance of this Resteraunt and you have the makings of a most enjoyable evening. My compliments to the chef, sommelier, staff and of course the ownership for a job very well done! My Best to you all! Co graduations Brad J Buscher
Food was delicious and service friendly and efficient. Upscale and good for special occasions.
The food is excellent every day Italian food. The chicken Parm fills the whole plate and is absolutely tasty. The lobster carbonara was superb the cannoli that are gluten-free are absolutely terrific all I can say is this restaurant is a must eat it when in New York City
We arrived 15 min before our reservations. I guess they don’t open for dinner til 5.when we got to podium, host yelled up for waiter to show us to our table. Thought this was crass Waiter. took us, to room and we passed many empty booths and showed us to booth all the way in rear. I asked to sit in booth toward center. He said no those were reserved. Even when we left no one sat in those booths Food was good. Asked for bread. They said it was being cut. We were almost finished with appy before bread came. No oil or butter. W... read more
Best anti pasta bar in the city. Best cannoli too.
Very vibrant and noisy restaurant. There were 4 of us and we were put in a quieter corner, however, this put us out of sight of the bus staff and waiter. Appetizers were very slow coming, waiter blamed the busser. When they came, they were not as ordered. Ooops. We were hungry so we ate them anyhow. I wouldn't recommend the 3 item antipasto platter. $22 was not good value for the indistinguishable food. Entrees were very good, but served lukewarm. Probably the bus staff problem too. Only exception to the entrees was the lasa... read more
