There aren't too many restaurants in the vicinity of Carnegie Hall, and this restaurant is across the street. It's serviceable. My husband liked the food; I am neutral. What I did not like was being upstairs. I told the person who was seating me that I had a bad knee and it was hard to climb stairs, but she didn't care. Great place to eat authentic Italian right opposite Carnegie Hall. Still great service, great food and ambiance. A nice night out with friends in Midtown.
We made a last minute reservation here and did not regret it. Our waiter was very helpful when making recommendations and suggestions. The food was really delicious and the cannoli for dessert was amazing. It had a quiet atmosphere so we highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredibly overcrowded with tables occupying virtually every inch of space. Extremely noisy, which would be helped by having fewer tables and more space between. As usual, food and service are outstanding.
I wasn't a fan of the food but the service was impeccable and if you're looking for a convenient location to Carnegie Hall, this is it.
From the time we entered the restaurant, the hostess and waiter were very attentive. Throughout my meal, Joseph was there to ensure that I had everything I needed. He kept checking in regularly to make sure that I was enjoying my food. He also made some great wine recommendations that paired perfectly with my dishes. Service was great. Friendly attentive wait staff. Veal piccata and bolognaise with 3-meat ragu were delicious.
