We came for a dinner on Valentine’s Day during our holiday from the UK in New York and it was very busy, but not in a bad way. I was assured it was a popular choice. Filled with groups of people as well as couples. The decor is lovely and vibrant as I had hoped. The restaurant was very busy this Saturday night and service was a bit slow. Took a while to get our drinks and food order served. The main positive was how friendly the staff was, from the greeter to the wait staff, to the servers. The atmosphere was fun and energetic. The biggest disappointment was the food. I am not a stranger to this wonderful restaurant and, as always, did not come away disappointed. The staff is accommodating to a fault and seated us upstairs as soon as I requested a tale there. The food speaks for itself and the value is fair and competitive. The portions, themselves, are overly generous. Of course, knowing Carnegie Hall is only steps away makes the evening that much more special.
Wonderful meal and service. We'll definitely be back!
