Id leave no stars if I could. I bought the house late May and moved in June 1st. Problems started a week later with me sending pics, videos, black mold, floors sinking in and they told us to just put bleach on the floor and refused to fix the rest of what he came for. ***** with Tru is absolutely horrible and puts you off and sits on your cases till they can say oh warranty is up even though been reported since week one. We purchased our home February of 2024. My husband and I were forced to sign the paperwork work with issues still needing to be fixed. The inspector was made aware of issues that were never fixed. We were rushed through the inspection now left to deal with a bunch of issues. True home is the worse builder do not recommend purchasing a home from them. Theyre not concerned with your issues. Please do your homework. Im ready to sell my home. Unhappy customer.
Horrible to work with for out of town buyers. They tried to make us close on New Years Eve, then tried to charge us $1000 for not closing. They rushed the home and did not have quality control. Had the inspection done and it failed. Had to have the inspection done 3 times and not completed until 12/30/2024. Then they had not completed the crown molding which we agreed to, but they did not reimburse us by adding n addendum to the contract which they did not sign until 1/2/2025. My family and I purchased our home from True Homes in 2019, drawn by the promise of a community with amenities such as a pool and clubhouse. It's now 2024, and despite assurances from the new *********** last year that the pool would be ready by Memorial Day 2025, we have recently been informed that the completion date has been pushed to 2026. The first red flag was that we were pushed into signing a contract without realtor representation. The house we chose was $15k over the website price. We were told false information about the design studio, expect to fork out money that day. The materials aren't the best. I'm having buyers remorse, save yourselves!!
True Homes only care about making more off the customers if you build home with them. Very BAD builder. Do not use them!
We signed a purchase contract for a new construction home in ********* and attended our Design Studio appointment in ******. Due to the appointment length we had to take time off from work and find a babysitter. The Design Studio appointment was a disaster: the Design Studio consultant was amateurish. They constantly had to ask other staff members for clarification on our questions.
