This is an exceptionally poor substitute and unusable Absolutely awful!! It took ages to arrive and you can't use the tape. It's a really inferior substitute. This is immediately apparent as soon as you open the packet, which is a bit of a con as it is shown as the genuine article. It splits in the middle and almost broke the tape machine as it gets all tangled and jammed inside.. I unfortunately ordered 2 tapes - both were exceptionally poor and unusable.

Gets expensive if you need to print large labels on a frequent basis. Expensive, the Brother Label Printer wastes a lot of the tape, I ended up selling our P-Touch and bought a Zebra Printer. This type of label printer is suitable for electricians etc who only need to make small labels.
Maybe One of the 5 I purchased was defective.

Brother TZ tape: 3/4" black on clear This product works as it says it should. It adheres, lasts for years in sun and is perfectly clear to read. Complaints - none, except perhaps for having to peal off the tape backing!
