I had never been to the Pt Jeff UG before. I was out on the East End and took a ride in. Wow, it is truly a marketplace. My first stop was the seafood dept for whole lobsters on sale. Fortunately, they had plenty even though lots of the people before me on the line were buying huge quantities, I only bought two and they were great. I also bought parsley/cheese sausage and pasta. so this location was pretty impressive. It's one of the bigger locations and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a live singer, which supposedly comes to all of the locations, but this gentleman was different than the other locations. The store was huge I actually had to grab a blanket from my trunk considering how cold it was. I spent a lot of time in here and it's really difficult not to walk out paying less than $200 because the groceries are so fresh in comparison to the other supermarkets in the area. We catered my daughter's graduation party with the Grad Package-not cheap but wow the food was amazing! We decided to have the order delivered at the last minute and the young man Justin who delivered it couldn't have been more punctual, helpful, courteous and professional. In fact I wished him great things in life because he carries the aura of a man on his way to success. Thank you Uncle G for great food making our party a smash success and thank you Justin for helping us set it up to perfection!

Beware of advertised prices versus what actually is charged on the register. I found four mistakes in a couple of months. All needed management to correct, but sale price finally accepted

Okay I get the hype. I went in knowing I was going to want to buy everything but skeptical on whether or not it would actually be any good. It was definitely very good. What held me back from buying more than five items (one not pictured in the photo) was that a lot of the items had either animal rennet or alcohol in it which is prohibited for Muslims (unless the former uses halal animal rennet) so that made it easy for me to tighten my purse strings and get a grip.
