Old School Italian favorites that are prepared like "grandma" would Not at the prices "grandma would pay" but worth it
This is the best market! I don't understand why it only has three stars of Yelp! Everything I hve ever bought there has been superb, the turkey roasts, the chicken Francese, the chicken Marsala, their shrimp scampi, their tuna, their salmon, their own roast beef, their own turkey supreme, their rolls, their baguettes, and let us not forget their produce, and of course their Italian specialties... from cookies to crackers to cheeses. Got a fruit tart with strawberries and blueberries and it was bland. They have everything in this place so there is plenty to try. Next time I am going to try the hot food.

We returned to NJ and had an extremely difficult time finding an Italian deli that could provide pastries and hard bread until a friend's neighbor told us about Uncle Giuseppe's Italian Market. We were overwhelmed by the cleanliness of the whole market as well as the politeness of the staff. The pizza was ok we would have preferred less crust and more cheese for the 20" cheese pizza. The variety of the pastries were wonderful as was the staff who helped us and actually knew what hard bread was. We were definitely impressed b... read more
