I have died and went to grocery store heaven. If you can imagine having the butcher, the fruit store, the bakery and the small market rolled into one. Having grown up in Queens NY, my mother and I would hop from specialty store to speciality store. You want meat and poultry, you go to the butcher shop. This is my HAPPY place!! If you're Italian and haven't visited UG's what are you waiting for?? I've influenced a handful of my friends to make the 30 min drive and each one has said it was well worth it!! It's an EXPERIENCE.. from the grab n go options; the collection of meats and cheeses to the dessert area with a wide range of mouth watering selections, mm mmm & MmMM!

Antonio is the bakery manager at Uncle Guiseppe. The cake that he made for my birthday was outstanding and everyone raved about how delicious it was and how beautiful it looked! He is an asset to the bakery department and I will recommend his expertise to anyone. The highest star rating possible

Stopped in here for the 1st time ever, was feeling adventurous and wanted to try out a new spot while I'm still in NY. In any case, I picked up a chicken parm alla vodka. Daaassss right, you read that right.... Alla Vodka Parm... it was insanely good. Like no I mean really good. I will def be going back for one and one of their others. Eggplant parm, meatball...etc. While their prices may be a lil pricey for some other things, it's definitely worth a look/try... especially those sandwiches. Good stuff, I'll be back.

Wow!! My sister talks about Uncle G's & raved about it!! We had been running errands & decided to stop here for . I can not wait to go back and actually shop! ( will bring my cooler) We took quick a tour of the store. So many fresh made products. Soups, sauces, fresh mozzarella, fresh made pasta & a bakery where everything looked amazing!. Wish we had one near home.
