I love this store. They carry items you can't find elsewhere. I have found that their mozzarella balls and manicotti go bad quickly. Perhaps the refrigeration isn't cool enough?

My favorite grocery store! The deli has everything fresh. They have a pizza bar, hot food bar, sushi bar, huge cheese and olive section and fresh pasta with sauces. The expresso bar is always on point as well as the gelato. But the bakery... oh man, where do I start?? You need to check it out to really understand. The staff here is always very friendly and go above and beyond to help. Uncle Giuseppe's is not just a grocery store, it's an experience!

It's hard not to be impressed when you go into Uncle Giuseppe's. It's an enormous gourmet wonderland of Italian prepared foods and imported products. The store is spotlessly clean and still has that "newly opened" vibe that almost always fades over time, but for now it's in full force. It's honestly hard to say what aspect of Uncle Giuseppe's stands out the most. The meat department is very large and they definitely have things you won't see elsewhere. How exciting! Not meant for everyday shopping necessarily, but great for fun trips every once in awhile. If you're making a charcuterie board, this is your spot. Or if you're having a party/event, you can get so many things here. They have all of the Italian items that come to mind: cookies, breads, cheeses, pastas, olive oils, etc. Then they have other fun stuff: pizza dough, drinks/sodas I've never seen before, coffee beans, allllllll kinds of fruits and vegetables, dips, soups, desserts, and so much more. As far as my wife and I are concerned the Uncle Giusepp's brand is top shelf. I'll keep this review to my most recent experience: My wife and I were contemplating a meatless dinner the first Friday in lent ..How about crab cakes? She suggested Uncle Giuseppe's. Sounds good. So off I go to Melville. I went directly to the seafood department where I met my new friend Dillon. Excuse me, can I ask a silly question?...Ask away...
