Expensive. I mean really expensive but the fact is you can get things there you can't get anywhere else easily. The hot food bar is definitely a go to as well as the sandwiches and salads and their deli counter is always busy for good reason. The fruit and veg is always fresh and high quality. absolutely my favorite place to buy any type of good for my growing family for the last10 years,before this branch opened I went to the Smithtown branch,wonderful selection of all meats ,lamb,beef,chicken,vegetables, fruits I will go there first always !! even have pizza to order,hot food bar to eat in store ,huge selection, adding more every time I go,and fantastic Italian pastries, try it, you will love it !!!
This place is huge! This place has every food item you can think of! I came here for the first time months ago and tried the chicken noodle soup. I was absolutely in love! Since then I have returned back twice and no longer seem to find that soup. Which is unfortunate. I did try to branch out and try out the different items by the deli counter. Amazing Italian supermarket. A constituent recommended this hidden jewel...which was clearly well known amongst the locals. Whenever passing through, I'll stop here. The ambiance and service was a bonus. Imagine you could squeeze all of Little Italy (Manhattan) into a store...welcome to Giuseppe's!
We have shopped there many times and while what they sell is good they don't have what is advertised. My wife came home today and said that two of the things that she went to buy that were advertised they did not have and they are not giving out rain checks. For us to go there it is about a 20 minute drive so it's inconvenient to have to go there again. This happens often, so we are thinking about not shopping there anymore.
I just returned from one month in Italy and thank God I found uncle Giuseppe's because I thought I was still on vacation

Came across this place via recommendation while on vacation. It reminded me of a casual Eataly but without the pretentiousness.
