I found it extremely difficult to even give this establishment one star, but the location on campus is convenient. Much like the other reviews from people who ACTUALLY lived in these buildings-I regret ever signing the initial lease. (most reviews that gave University Station more than 1 star haven’t lived there yet/ probably got a free water bottle or t-shirt to review the page) Building-The walls are so paper-thin you can hear your fellow residents below/above use the bathroom. The building was ALWAYS sticky, smelly and d... read more
I've only been here for a week but so far the amenities are nice and the fully furnished rooms are great and spacious for a one bedroom apartment. It's also right by Xavier University so it's a close walk to your classes if you go there. Don't really have any complaints. I only wished that parking was free or included as a resident of the complex!
I wish I never renewed my lease here. The doors are broken for weeks on end, the hallways are a disaster (floor to ceiling), the stairwells smell awful, and there's a constant low humming noise that is driving me to the verge of insanity. I pay way too much to live here than it's worth. I have expressed my complaints to management multiple times and nothing has been done to fix anything.
The building seems nice because it's relatively new, but was managed horribly. I spent 2 years walking down sticky hallways or up stairwells that smelled like a cat's esophagus. The building was put together hastily, and you could tell. I also spent the last 6 months of my time there walking all the way around the building because the door nearest my apartment was broken more than it was functional. Everyone that I know who lived there for one year or longer also hated it and many of my friends lived somewhere in the complex... read more
I was honestly surprised when I saw the high ratings for University Station but then I realized that most of them had never actually lived there yet. The management changed at least 3 times in the 2 years of living there and the doors were constantly broken on a daily basis and weren't fixed in a timely manner. The building was nice but it wasn't worth the hassle of the employees who work there.
Living at UStation was the worst decision I ever made in my life. Contact me before you decide to live here and I will give you 20 reasons not to.
