service was quick but they only serve fried seafood so obviously frozen. crab cakes had no flavor, steamers were tiny, pick n peel shrimp were over cooked. at least there's still a nice view

No bread. I said even with mussels?? No all u can eat crabs. Specials were kids sized. $4o for a tbone that was not even near 1/2inch thick. Then when I walked by a table they were given bread. Asked the server again he said no we don’t have bread so I said well what’s that. No answer. No salads with entrees. No sub for potatoes. Don’t waste ur time. There are so many better options

We go to Uries every year. We were so excited to go for our annual all you can eat crabs. They didn’t have them this year which is fine. The dinners did not come with salads, no dinner rolls and ordered a cucumber salad (which was not a salad) and it was way over priced. The waiter was extremely nice and he seemed uncomfortable when he had to say salads don’t come with the dinner. Neither do rolls. Everything was basically À la cart. I'm 62 years old and been eating crabcakes since I was a kid. Yesterday our family went to Uries and was I ever disappointed. I had the crabcakes and omg how terrible. Red Peppers in a crabcake? No way! let's just say the taste was horrible. Couldn't eat it. my friends had the clams and what a joke. The size was so so small and forget about any clams. the whole meal was a dissatisfying mess. My wife and I have been going to Urie's Waterfront Restaurant since we got married in '09. We come to Wildwoods with our family and friends. After the terrible experience we had this past Sunday August 9th we will not be returning. Apparently a party of 19 doesn't deserve adequate service. The waitress was completely miserable and was not able to keep up with the needs of our party. She couldn't keep up with the drinks for the adults. Went here specifically for MD Blue Crabs. Ordered them with the Spicy MD Crab Soup. Soup was excellent! Crabs were BAD, as in spoiled, as in STRONG ammonia flavor and smell. Sent back the first one, and the second one was just as bad. Cancelled the crab altogether. Other members of the party were satisfied with their food, I was not. The waiter apologized and took the crab off the bill. If I get my appetite back for seafood, I’ll have to try somewhere else...

The service was slow, the food portions were small. The prices were to high for the quality of food your getting. I never mind paying for good food and drinks but the drinks were very expensive and came in small glasses. The music was bad. There was people walking out because the service was so bad. Will not waste my time going back.
