David K. was our home inspector, and he was excellent! He was ready and waiting for me and my fiancé when we arrived at the property. From the start, he was a consummate professional. David took the time to comb through every inch of the house, pointing out items of concern and explaining them in great detail. He was very thorough and patient, answering all of our questions. He provided a REALLY thorough report, explained everything, and even came back for an inaccessible part later. The deal fell through based on this inspection, but that's why you have one, right? Inspected prospective home buy

Inspector took his time and covered all the bases. The price was lower than I expected and I feel confident moving forward with this home purchase after having this inspection. I booked Valueguard for our home inspection based on the reviews on Angie's List. From start to finish the experience was very professional and detailed. The receptionist was thorough and pleasant to deal with and the actual home inspection was incredible. Brad (home inspector) left no stone unturned. The inspection was so thorough that we ended up terminating the contract we had with the sellers. Like many others, I needed a home inspector and came to Angie's List. ValueGuard has consistently excellent ratings, so I gave them a call. I was able to schedule an inspection within a close time frame. The woman answering the phone took down my contact information and location of the home. She went over the prices and they are exactly as described on the website. I arrived at my future home 15 minutes before the scheduled inspection. I was very impressed with my experience with Value Guard from start to finish. The person I spoke to about setting up the inspection was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the house about 20 minutes early expecting to have to wait a while, but the main inspector (Cory Shalaway) and the termite inspector (Tom from Boro Termite) were already there. We needed a home inspection. Checked angie list, read the reviews, and called Value Guard. The phone person was very friendly and helpful. A few days later we were setup and ready to go. Mike B was waiting for us to arrive and was full steam once we entered the home. He pointed out any issues, plus showed us where the seller added some nice finishing touches and upgrades. All communication with the staff of ValueGuard was excellent and exceeded expectations. They were very professional in all our contacts and Mike, who actually performed the inspection, was a pleasure to work with. Mike made the experience very informative and was willing to answer every annoying question I had.
