Facility clean which was a plus. Disappointed no music played during the MRI as promised
The experience was very smooth. However, the staff unilaterally made the decision to not follow the orders my doctor sent. This resulted in me paying out of pocket for a different scan without my knowledge. No one discussed this change with me or the practitioner who sent the orders. When questioned about this, they claimed that the radiologist had the discretion to over rule any UVM practitioner. This may be true. I told them i was going there because i thought it was a open Mri like the one in the Video...The Hitachi Oasis which looks like a open MRI.The Woman i spoke to said next time i should be Sedated.Your Webb site says it's much more tolerable for People that are Clostofobic. Why wasn't i offered this MRI?

Hi Bruce-Believe it or not, you WERE on our Hitachi Oasis OPEN MRI. It is considered the most open MRI on the market so unfortunately; we can't offer anything more spacious. We do try to suggest to anyone who answers "Yes, I am claustrophobic" on our screener that they consider coming medicated prior to arrival (if they have a driver).
