Menu too "fancy" with ingredients we had never heard of (and we are foodies). Overall fairly unappealing menu. Actual food was delicious but portions small. Will not rush back.
Food was exceptional. Restaurant was cold. Waiter knew we were going to concert so tried to get meal out quickly.
Was our favorite. Appears most of senior staff has been pulled out to open new restaurant. Experience lost. Nothing special anymore.
Difficult to decide what to order! The food presentation was TOP SHELF art on a plate.
This was our fifth visit to Vida and we were a little disappointed this time. The previous visits we rated as outstanding but this time, not so much. We originally made reservations for 4 persons. Ourselves and a cousin and his wife visiting from D.C. who are gourmets. Other relatives asked to join and the group expanded to 6. Easy walk from chaos of Mass Ave. Upscale dining with great service.
Be prepared for a New York experience (at a New York price), but not to be missed for a special occasion! (Brûlée and chocolate desserts too complicated to explain here.)
Every staff member we interacted with was warm and friendly. Service was outstanding. Food was excellent. Great for a special occasion or treating yourself to something extraordinary.
Vida never disappoints. Our son just turned 21, and Vida was the first place he wanted to go. As a foodie, this restaurant always serves fresh food, w innovative preparation and presentation. Don’t miss the 4 course meal. Great deal for the price!
