Picked this spot for business dinner based on all the good reviews. It was definitely 5 star dining in in the tradition of the old Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago, although with a modern vibe. They offered 2 price fixe options, $85 for 6 courses with optional wine pairings for the whole table, or 4 courses for $65, which allows individual choices, or complete a la carte. In for Devour Downtown--tried the Chef's tasting menu. Everything I had was excellent. Don't expect large portions here; expect expertly executed small dishes. Least favorite part of the tasting menu was the dessert--olive oil cake. Our server lacked any personality whatsoever this time around, but service was prompt. I love this place for a special occasion!
Upper room was wonderful at first. Large party was sat next to us the second half of the meal. Once they arrived the enclosed room echoed everything and it became very noisy. Would suggest only small party tables up there or one large party table since the space is small.

Best restaurant in Indy, hands down! We had the 4 course tasting menu and everything was fantastic. The duck was my favorite, but the beef tartar was also great, as was everything we tried. Ever person, From the valet, to the hostess, to the server and food runners was knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu and made us feel welcome and appreciated as customers.
