One of Indianapolis ' better restaurants though not one of the top 10 for food. A cool looking restaurant with good service.
As a family we have rarely eaten in a restaurant on Christmas Eve. But my wife and I had such a lovely meal here a few months ago, we thought we'd celebrate the holiday w/the family eating here before candlelight church services. It appears they extended themselves as none of the food was as good as it was last time (even their classic dessert "donuts" were over cooked. Service was mediocre. Maybe this is why we don't typically eat out on Christmas Eve.
We have been a number of times and the food and service are consistently outstanding!
Great atmosphere, food and vibe. Certainly more on the foodie, upscale end for Indy. Great special occasion place or if you are really trying to make an impression on a first date. Service was fantastic, including a few comped extras since it was our annual Christmas date. Wonderful place.
Outstanding service, food and ambiance! From the starters to the cocktails to the salads to the entrees to the wine to the desserts (including a double-order of the donuts), it was exceptional, even among other fabulous foodie restaurants. Thank you to Vida for helping to make our holiday outing special!

If you like small portions of good food, with designs drawn on the plate in sauces, you'll love Vida. The food was excellent and the service incredible, but the portions were very small and the menu held descriptions of things beyond the normal realm of recognition (sorry, but I don't know what guanciale is and neither does Google). The atmosphere was wonderful and our server, Jeremy, was very friendly, yet professional. Celebrated my wife's birthday here and had a great dinner. The ricotta donuts are amazing to finish the meal.
