I had such a good time with girlfriends on my first visit that I convinced my husband we had to dine at Vida. I was there on a Tuesday evening and then again on Friday evening. I sat in the bar the first time and in the downstairs dining the second time. Both areas were lovely. The food was exquisite and our service was superb! I have already told four people about it that haven't been yet that IT IS A MUST!

Vida is one of the newest Cunningham Group Restaurants in the Indianapolis area. I had some Cunningham gift cards, so we decided to try Vida on the way to attending a play. Parking is sparse but an inexpensive valet service is available. The dishes offered were unusual and intriguing but limited. My wife ordered the chicken (accompanied by Lima beans and mozzarella) while I ordered the Semolina Tagliatelle Pasta. We had a great dinner at Vida on April 15 before seeing The Book of Mormon. The server staff was extremely knowledgeable and informative helping us to make our salad and entree choices. Additionally, the sommelier was equally helpful in picking out just the right wine. We would have loved to linger even longer over dinner in the great atmosphere but had to run to the theater. We will be back!
Vida is located across from the historic district of Lockerbie in Downtown Indianapolis (a couple of blocks from Mass avenue). The restaurant is modern and the architecture provides a sophisticated environment to enjoy your dinner or drinks at the bar. Great new restaurant in the Cunningham Group. Beautifully designed space and wonderful food and service. The bar is vibrant and tables near the bar can be noisy. The dining room has a quieter dining experience. The Indy restaurant scene keeps getting better.

My wife and I returned to Vida, bringing a friend who was experiencing the restaurant for the first time. Simply put, this is our favorite restaurant for a special night out with friends. We found the restaurant to be very unpretentious and unassuming from the outside. It fit into the neighborhood decor like it had been there for ions giving it a relaxing and reassuring presence upon arrival.
