Wonderful meal. Four gourmet courses of moderate size for a reasonable price. Amazing baked breads, fresh greens and hers, entrees and desserts. Coffee is French pressed and piping hot. We loved it.
Fantastic meal, great staff. One of the best meals I've had in Indy. The restaurant reminds me of the old Aliena feel and vibe in Chicago. Would highly recommend!!

We arrived on a Saturday night about 5:15, so the crowd had not arrived yet. The Tequila Chapo is wonderful which my wife and I both had. I had the beef and the other two in our party had fish and we all had salad. They each had Wall green's and I the Egg in a Basket. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. Great menu and great food! Good service, tight tables with servers having to wedge themselves between you and table next to you.
How unfortunate when I lived just around the corner that such a fine restaurant didn't exist then. If so, would probably go at least once a week. Really a fine dining experience, food, service, ambience -- the whole shabang. A bit pricy, but what the hell, if you got it, spend it.
Overall an outstanding experience. My one disappointment was being greeted poorly. We arrived just a few minutes late (and it was past the peak of the busy period) and were told that we were a "no-show". Not very friendly to say the least. Once seated, however, all was gracious and wonderful.
Vida appeals to adults and, possibly, teens. The eclectic menu offers something for nearly everyone's tastes unless you are craving a large burger with all the toppings. The cocktail and wine list should meet nearly everyone's desires as well. My problem is that Vida obviously wants the diner to opt for the tasting menu; however, if one does not care for, or, for health reasons, skips dessert, then the diner must choose ala cartel options. One of the best restaurants I have experienced. The staff were excellent from the valet to the hosts, the waiter and his assistant. Food was very creative and very good. From the time we sat down to the time we left, we were served on a consistent timeline which kept us delighted. The decor was interesting and attractive. The cost is very competitive for similar quality fare.
