Our food was delicious; our server friendly and knowledgeable. Hattie McDaniel was my student in third grade. I am so proud of her!!! Noise level was a little high
This was my fourth visit to this restaurant and each time has been better than the last. The service is great without being intrusive -- a real lost art these days. The food was superb. We had a cheese plate, the haricot vert salad, chili relleno, and the fantastic ricotta donuts. This restaurant is definitely on my rotation as a great dining option.
Every month my girlfriend and I pick one top rated restaurant in the city for a night out... We have dined over the past few months at Late Harvest Kitchen, Black Market, Recess, the Loft at Traders Point, among others... These meals have all been excellent... But this one stood above them all from wall to wall... Beautiful, inspired, and amazingly flavorful plates. An adventure for my palette, that ended with one of the best deserts of my life.
Outstanding all around. Food was great. Interesting ingredients (ever had finger limes??). Well-presented. Beautiful decor and the volume was very pleasant unlike most restaurants these days. We loved it and would absolutely go back.
The restaurant was lovely and the service was very good. I went to the bar to have a drink while I waited for the rest of my party. I was disappointed in the bar service. I was virtually ignored by the bartender and there were only two other people sitting at the bar.
We began with drinks and an appetizer in the bar then moved to the main room for our dinner. We were so delighted that even with a full house, we didn’t have to yell at each other to be heard. Everyone around us was happily engaged in conversation, but I wasn’t overwhelmed by any noise. This was my second time at Vida and it did not disappoint. I tried the Tastings menu with wine pairings...a little pricy, but well worth it. The courses were the perfect size and were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out or special occasion.
