Best dining option in Indy right now.
Fantastic experience. Would love to try the dining room next time. The bar dining area is a little loud but still didn't spoil the experience. Great food and service!
This was our first experience with Vida ; the meal, service and atmosphere were exceptionally good. The interiors are warm, sleek and blessedly carpeted. Upholstered dining chairs as the carpet helps to cut down on the noise level. Granted this wasn't a Friday night but Tuesday. Also, this is NOT a child/infant friendly establishment, so buyer beware: the menu is very limited, exceptionally high quality, many ingredients etc locally sourced. We came for our 1st visit celebrating our 14th yr anniversary...we felt like celebrities, the entire staff gave us the royal treatment...made us feel very special and just made our night, thank you!
First time at Vida and must say, I was floored! We eat out quite a bit and I also used to work in the industry. Vida is, by far, the best restuarant in Indy! We did the 5 course tasting menu, a salad and a pork dish. Everything tasted absolutely amazing!! Very high compliments to the chef! It was culinary art at its finest!! The service was impeccable as well! Casey was a fantastic server! We'll definitely be back!!
First visit but we will return very soon. We had dinner in the bar area and our server, Amanda, was very attentive and knowledgeable. We shared a chopped salad, I had the halibut and the other entree was chicken scallopini. For desert we shared the shortbread. Beautiful presentation but the flavors were delicious.
This was one of my favorite meals this summer. I honestly have not one single complaint. The waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu and better describing items that we did not initially grasp the taste combination. With two areas in the restaurant that are clearly separate, it is to your discretion to either enjoy a more lively meal in the bar area or a most subdued dining experience on the main dining side. The evening truly was a pleasure from first cocktail to dessert!
Great place in a really nice and upcoming part of Indy. South of Mass Ave. Enjoyed it very much.
