I went to Vida for Mother's Day. It was my first time dining here. The ambience was amazing. The menu was small but what we ordered was delicious beyond compare. For appetizers we had the short rib tartare and the crab and octopus roll. They were exceptionally plated as I first eat with my eyes then my mouth. The look didn't disappoint. Service was outstanding. Food was good. Appetizer we ordered was $18.00 which is crazy. Wasn't that great. All entrees and sides were $5 - $7.00 overpriced. Restaurant itself is nice inside.
My mother had just finished a very long drive to visit me and I had just gotten off work after a long week with overtime, so both of us were grouchy, but I had made reservations for us after a friend recommended Vida. Food is very interesting, and obviously fresh. Service is among the best I have ever experienced. Cocktails are creative. Very impressed
This was my third trip to Vida and am going back tonight with new foodies to Vida....need I say more?? Adam our server was the best and was very helpful with spot-on recommendations!
Vida was a perfect spot to celebrate a very special 50th birthday. The tasting menu with wine pairing was perfection. The atmosphere during our visit was cozy vibrance. Vida is a wonderful dining addition to our city. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This was our first visit to this hot new Indianapolis restaurant, about which we had heard many good things. The space is beautifully designed and inviting; the menu, while relatively small, has interesting offerings and our choices were well-prepared; and the service was knowledgeable and professional. My wife and I decided to try VIDA after a strong recommendation from a friend. The positives were they did a great job renovating the previous restaurant. The wall garden was a nice touch. The service and staff were very friendly and excellent. I really liked the short ribs and would definitely order them again.
