Awesome experience, My wife and I did the Wine Paring Dinner and it was spectacular! Chef, Sommelier and staff knocked it out of the park.
You will not find anything else in Indy like this. The last time I had a meal like this was in Chicago. We both had the Tasting Menu with wine pairing. Each course was better than the last. Wine selections were on point. Our server was fantastic. Restaurant is gorgeous. We can not wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and sign off on the Tasting Menu and let them take it from there. Thanks for a great experience.
I have recently read about Vida and decided to try it with my best friend in our monthly outing to one of the very nice restaurants in the area. The last time we were there was probably 20 years ago when it was Amici's. Needless to say the beautiful building got our attention immediately. Vida was outstanding. The menu is well-rounded with something for everyone. The chef is very innovative. Great drink and wine offerings. The service was top notch. wonderful dining experience.
My wife and celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary at Veda. We are a fit couple, but we love food and love the art of food. This restaurant is exactly that. For people that can appreciate the art of food and the time that goes into subtle details of the dish, I highly recommend this restaurant. This isn't a place to go get stuffed, but definitely did not leave hungry. The ricotta donuts w/ maple glaze and brown butter ice cream was an amazing end to our wonderful experience at Veda!
Everything wows from the moment you walk in. The design. The wall of salad greens growing where the pick your salad fresh. Waiters are very well trained. Knowledgeable about the wine list and menu. Personable yet very professinsl. On top of their game. As for food. Really interesting Indian twist on lobster bisque. Salad with candied pecans, cherries and goat cheese in champagne vinaigrette was delightful. we had the scallops - excellent (4 large scallops), crab & avocado roll, also excellent; halibut, very good. wine list good/solid. carrot cake a disappointment if you like Shapiros -- beet sauce interesting but not very good, donuts, excellent. great space, prep area and kitchen interesting. waited 20 mins after our reservation for a table, which seemed unnecessary.
I took my wife here for her birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Great service and great food, will definitely be back again.
